Integrated Community and its programs were established after a series of community meetings held throughout the Yampa Valley to address our community’s needs in response to changing demographics. These meetings held during the fall of 2004 gathered over 75 immigrants, government officials, health care providers, nonprofit organization directors, and other community members to establish a prioritized list of community needs.  The top priorities identified were:

Information on legal and community issues in Spanish
A distribution method for information in Spanish- radio, newspaper, etc
Access to medical
Accessible English classes and more advanced English classes

Integrated Community is a 501c3 project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center.  The Colorado Nonprofit Development Center The Colorado Nonprofit Development Center's mission is to enhance the effective and efficient use of community resources by providing charitable projects with fiscal sponsorship as well as management and capacity-building services.  The board of directors of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center can be found on their website.
